Batavia Artists Association at Water Street Studios was founded to advance art education and appreciation by developing the promotion of fine arts in Batavia and neighboring communities. As an integral part of our community, Batavia Artists Association at Water Street Studios strives to create a personal and diverse venue for creativity, collaboration, expression and education.


January 2010 Winter Show
Guest Juror: Steve Sherrell

Water Street Studios had the honor of having Chicago artist Steve Sherrell as our Guest Juror for the upcoming 2010 Winter Show.
Out of the many artists who submitted for the show, the jury panel selected six Honorable Mentions and one Best of Show.

We are also pleased to announce that audio biographies of many of the exhibiting artists are available for free download.

The submission deadline for the 2010 Spring show is March 15th.

Artists do not have to be residents of Water Street Studios to exhibit in our gallery.

Artists interested in having their work on display will be a part of the mission in keeping with for the community in conjunction with the mission of WSS: to advance art education and appreciation by promoting fine arts in Batavia and offer a diverse venue in which to experience art.
