Accessibility Policy

Water Street Studios at 160 South Water Street is not handicapped accessible at this time, however the Batavia Artists Association can make arrangements for individuals or groups who wish to access our facility during regular gallery hours, or for special events. Once within 160 South Water Street, public areas are in full compliance with Illinois and federal law pertaining to handicapped accessibility (gallery, classrooms, restrooms, office and doorways).

Batavia Enterprises Inc., the building owner, can provide for access through a separate entrance at 160 First Street. If an individual or group needs such access, they should contact Water Street Studios at least two business days prior to the time that they plan to visit Water Street Studios. Batavia Enterprises and Water Street Studios will then put forth their best effort to make the necessary arrangements to provide an accessible entrance and exit to Water Street Studios during the requested times. It should be noted that the second floor is not a public area and is not accessible.
